Pass Plus is an extended course which you can take with an instructor once you have passed your driving test. It must be taken within one year of passing the driving test. It is a government scheme to help promote safer driving. To encourage drivers to take the course, many insurance companies are offering reduced rates to pass plus drivers.

The reductions available normally overcome the cost of the course in the first year and then stay with you. It will also make you a much better driver.

The course takes a minimum of 6 hours and covers:

· Town driving

· Country lanes

· Night driving

· All weather driving

· Duel-carriageways

· Motorways
